BULLieve!
Good evening to each and every BULLiever.
Well this week has been very thin on the ground news wise, although a few things have been revealed. Magic weekend is to return to the etihad in manchester for the second year running after the RFL asked for feedback on the venue and decided that within the etihads location, the fans can easily access the ground and its facilitys. The weekend is to be played on may bank holiday which is the 25/26th.
Also revealed this week was the HOME matches of all the super league teams. Bradford will start at the provident stadium with a visit from the wakefield wildcats. It was also revealed that only ONE super league team will have a consecutive home then away tie instead of lets say 2 home matches 1 away then 2 away and 1 home if that makes sense. Baring the magic weekend, the team who will play these games is, wakefield wildcats. The full fixtures were annouced this morning and are as follows,
1 03/02/13 Bradford Bulls v Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 3:00pm
2 08/02/13 Hull FC v Bradford Bulls 8:00pm

27 08/09/13 Bradford Bulls v Huddersfield Giants 3:00pm
All fixtures are subject to change.
These fixtures in my opinion are not the best for away matches In the economic climate we are all in, how much money do the RFL think we have? Travelling to away games costs alot! You have ticket costs, travelling costs, parking costs, food costs, drink costs and programs to buy. And thats just one adult! Imagine how much a family of 4 would spend. I know our game needs more money but wow this isnt fair! Plus families fly to the catalan game and make a weekend of it, then only 15 days later its a travel to the capital to face london which, for quite alot of fans isnt an option.
As regards our new shirts for the 2013 season, the home shirt is availible to pre-order from december 1st and, will be availible for christmas iam informed. Our away shirt, will be availible from january 15th 2013.
Well the comedy night which was held in the coral stand was a complete success with the coral stand packed out! There is to be another comedy night held on friday 18th january 2013 if you missed this one id urge you to go to the next one.
Contuary to any rumours surrounding Micheal Platt, i have spoken to the man himself and NO, he is not off to any other club iam pleased to say. Which i think is a brilliant thing as, over the years Platty has improved somewhat over the past few seasons.
Well on a really positive note, Mr Khan has decided to extend the early bird offer on season tickets! The new deadline is 14.30 on december 1st. THANKYOU OMAR!!!! This is fantastic news for all of us who maybe couldnt quite stretch to the first deadline.
Just for a bit of fun ( and more followers) on twitter the race is ON! Our very own omar, ( @bullschairman ) Ryan ( @listerhotel ) and vipin (@vipinjoshi97 ) are trying to be the first to 1000 followers! The winner will hold a party in the coral stand for all of the 1000 followers so, if your on twitter then lets get following. P.S No i dont know if its free beer hahahaha
In season ticket news, so far the figure released is 4000 but, this does not include any corporate tickets, junior tickets etc and so far the official figure is more like 6000+ which, given the state of the economy, job losses and our escape from liquidation i think is a pretty darn good number so far!
The next event to be held at odsal is,
Wine tasting evening on Wednesday 21st November in the Trevor Foster Bar. Tickets are priced at £7.50 for wine tasting, cheese, pâté, etc.
The event commences at 7:00 pm and supporters are invited to taste wines from around the world with our wine expert Anthony of Eden Wines.
Once again i would like to thank each and everyone who reads my weekly article and hope this is informative and good to read.
