Hello! I'm Judith from Bradford 1964 Ltd. I have followed the Bulls/Northern since 1957 when my late Uncle Joe Ellis took me to my first match. i unfortunately stopped going to Odsal when I met my late husband, and then had my three children, but continued to follow the Northern. My husband sadly passed away in 2009 and I started being more interested again (something to do), but I thought I could not stand for the length of a match as I have arthritis. I have now decided for the first time to get a season ticket for the Main Stand and am looking forward to the new season. COYB

hi there judi, thankyou for joining the forum. We hope you enjoy your stay here with us and spread the word . Very nice intro there! sorry to hear about your husband passing . The main stand can be cold at times so wrap up warm so it dont trigger your arthritis and cause more pain. 2013 - YEAR OF THE BULL!

Thanks for the advice, but when I used to come with my late sister in the late 1950's we used to sit in the middle seats (benches, I should say) at the front of the stand, I don't remember getting cold, but then I was in my teens and wouldn't feel it. Sixpence in the boy's entrance and sixpence transfer into the stand - luxury. The chap at the Stand turnstile used to watch our bikes at the back. Mind you there were only about 500 fans in the crowd at that time....lol.
